“This place was such a gem! It was a really special experience staying in a barn house which had lots of western-themed decor. I loved the well stocked kitchen, seeing the stars at night, and seeing the horses in the morning! It felt very spacious, comfortable, and also memorable!”

The space

Though all the usual amenities are provided, it is rustic and "real".....surrounded by horses, cows and ranch life.

Guest access

Guests are welcome to walk down to the river and visit the bosque treehouse next to the river, which has a porch and is is a nice place to watch the sunset. For a good hike, the Santa Fe National Forest is right across from our driveway entrance, and has many good trails to follow.

Other things to note

Rancho Verde is a real working ranch. We have 4 ranch dogs and numerous horses that are trained and ridden daily. New Mexico can get dusty, hot, dry, and dirty; it is all part of the experience.
